Tucked beneath the trees, our Trappers Cabins offer a cozy stay for those who appreciate a more rustic experience. These heated cabins have two layouts, one king bed or two separate double beds, a table and chairs, and enough room to gather, rest, or plan your next day in the mountains. Though simpler than our glamping cabins, they provide just the right balance of comfort. Perfect for families, friends, or small groups looking to stay close to nature.
Outside, each cabin includes a private fire pit, picnic table, and space to unwind beneath the stars. Whether you’re sharing stories around the fire or setting out early for a hike or off-road ride, the Trappers Cabin makes a great basecamp. It’s a back-to-basics kind of place. Quiet, grounded, and full of character.

FAQ's
How long is the drive to Canmore or Banff?
Our property is located approximately 1 hour from Canmore (1.5 hours from Banff) and is 8km up a rugged gravel road. Due to our remote location, we are best suited for guests looking to truly get away and enjoy the peaceful, natural surroundings.
We are not ideal for one-night stopovers or quick stays en route to Banff, Canmore, or other destinations. If you’re looking for a convenient place to sleep on your way through, we recommend booking accommodation in town instead.
We look forward to welcoming guests who are seeking a destination experience remote, tranquil, and off the beaten path.
How many people can stay inside the cabin?
We offer two Trappers Cabin layouts: one with a king bed and one with two double beds. The king cabin accommodates 2 adults, while the double-bed cabin accommodates up to 4 adults. Children may be accommodated depending on age.
Is bedding included?
Bedding is available for king beds for an additional charge. Bedding is not available for cabins with double beds.
Is there a washroom inside the cabin?
Cabins do not have washrooms or running water. Outhouses and wash stations are a short walk from each cabin. Cabins 2, 3, 7, and 8 are closest to the washrooms.
Is there access to running water?
There is access to running water at the wash station, located a short walk from the cabins. The water is non-potable, and we kindly ask that guests use biodegradable soap.
Is there cell service or WIFI at the cabin?
Cell service is very limited on the property. Wi-Fi is available at the campstore.
